His life is for everyone, and He is impartial.
Jesus’ message of life is for all—without favoritism, without boundaries. It transcends nationality, political affiliation, race, and gender. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from—His love reaches you.
Jesus came to undo all that was done in Adam, restoring what was lost and including those we might consider beyond God’s reach. Peter had to learn this firsthand. In his mind, Cornelius—the Roman centurion—was an outsider, someone unclean, beyond the scope of God’s redemption. Yet God made it clear: “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean” (Acts 10:15, NIV).
Cornelius was a good man, but as soon as Peter walked through the door, Cornelius fell at his feet to worship him. And that’s the reality for so many today—good people worshiping the wrong things, seeking fulfillment in things that cannot save. But the answer for both the “good” and the “bad” is not a list of things to do to be right with God.
It’s not transactional—it’s a declaration.
The gospel isn’t a sales pitch. It’s not, “If you do this, then God will do that.” Instead, it is the bold proclamation of what God has already done on behalf of all humanity. It is good news—for everyone, even those we might consider unclean, unworthy, or too far gone. That’s what Peter learned. That’s what we must proclaim.
So today, let’s renew our hearts in this gospel of Jesus. He is the one who makes good people new people, broken people whole, unclean people clean, and the dead alive.
He has done it all. It is finished.
And this gospel is for you.
So let’s walk in His transforming power today. Let’s rejoice in the truth that we are included. And as we go through our day, let’s be open to the appointments God has set before us—because we never know what miracle might be on its way.
And the prayer of my heart today is that I will see that—that I will root myself in this truth. Because what is… is really good.
That’s my prayer for myself.
That’s my prayer for my family—my wife, my daughters, and my son.
And that’s my prayer for you.
May it be so.
