Daniel needed a second touch. He was overwhelmed and deep in anguish at the vision he was given the weight of the vision was too much for him. His call on Daniel, the challenges that lie ahead and the ruins that remained behind it all was just too much for him. He said, My strength is gone, I could hardly breathe. Have you ever felt that way? Have you ever seen things ahead of you, or look back behind you and seeing with such clarity, the enormity of it all the enormity of the task that lie ahead, the destruction that is in your wake has caused you to be overcome, frightened, unable to breathe, your strength gone. If you've ever been there, then you, me and Daniel all have this in common.
But God touched Daniel again. Daniel says, then the one who looked like a man touched me again. And I felt my strength returning. Don't be afraid. He said, for you are very precious to God, peace, be encouraged, be strong. And as he spoke these words to me, I suddenly felt stronger and said to him, please speak to me, my lord. For you have strengthened me.
God gives Daniel a second touch. God is declaring his love for Daniel and his love for us. Through his comforting words and his touch, this is the touch that we need from God. This is the touch that can help us with the enormity of the vision that lies ahead with the weight of all that's happened in the past. Do you need a second touch from God? receive it right now. Just open up your hands even now. and receive it. He's with you right now. He has spoken to you from his word today. You can even just whisper the word. Yes, Lord. Thank you. God has spoken loud and clear. He is coming to us today to offer his presence, his touch. And with it he offers the same word that he gave to Daniel. Don't be afraid. You're very precious to God. So I received this from him. Now. That's a prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family for my wife and my daughters and my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you may be so
