God demonstrates His righteousness and his love. David says this in verse 6 of this psalm, that I, the Lord have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. He's speaking of God's Anointed One, the one who will take us by the hand and guard us, the one who will be the light to the nation's, the one that will open eyes of the blind and set the captives free. Paul goes further to say that God demonstrates His love for us. In Romans 5:8 he writes, God demonstrates His own love for us in this world while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. just as we are. amen
